Learn how to set up your account, synchronize pages, and automate comments and messages.

1. Facebook Accounts & Fan Pages

AFTER YOU LOGIN IN THE APPLICATION, YOUR MAIN FACEBOOK ACCOUNT IS AUTHORIZED AND YOUR FAN PAGES ARE IMPORTED. IF YOU WANT TO SYNCRONIZE AGAIN YOUR FAN PAGES YOU SHOULD CLICK ON "SYNCHRONIZE FAN PAGES" BUTTON.

HOW TO ADD ANOTHER FACEBOOK ACCOUNT IN FACEBOOK AUTORESPONDER BOT:

If you want to add and authorize another Facebook account, please follow these steps:

• Login in Autoresponder Bot with your MAIN Facebook account.
• Open another TAB in your browser and login into Facebook with the new Facebook account you want to authorize.
• In Autoresponder Bot, go to "Facebook Accounts&Fan Pages" section and click on "Authorize New Facebook Account" button.
• Save the new account then click on "Authorize Application" button.
• Approve all rights asked in the Facebook dialog box.
• NOTE: You will have to do this only once for each Facebook account.

IMPORT AND SYNCHRONIZE NEW FACEBOOK FAN PAGES

After authorizing a new Facebook account, the software will automatically import all your fan pages.
To import your new fan pages, go to "Facebook Accounts And Fan Pages" and click on "Synchronize Fan Pages" orange button.

In the first dialog in Facebook you will be given two options/buttons: Edit Settings and Continue as [YOUR FB USERNAME].
Click on the "Edit Settings" button and choose the new Facebook pages you want to import in Autoresponder Bot.
Grant all the requested permissions and after the redirect you will see the new fan pages.

If "Edit Settings" option is missing in Facebook authorization pop-up window:
1. Logout from Autoresponder Bot application
2. Go to your Facebook account and click on "Settings & Privacy" then click on "Settings"
3. In "Business Integrations" section, search for Autoresponder Bot application and REMOVE it.
4. Go to Autoresponder Bot and click on "LOGIN" button
5. Confirm all rights asked by Facebook and choose the new fan pages you want to import

2. Templates And Resources

KEYWORD LISTS

If you want the software to reply only for some keywords, use this section to create your keyword lists.

The software can search in posts, comments, messages and reviews for the keywords defined in your list and it will perform the specified action(reply, delete, hide, like, block user, etc).

The keywords must be inserted one by one in the list, separated by commas. (Ex: keyword1, keyword2, keyword3)

The keywords can be used with wildards to allow exact, phrase or broad match:

• keyword - searches for the string case insensitive in any position in the comment
• *keyword* - searches for the EXACT word in any position in the comment
• *keyword - searches by any string followed by keyword
• keyword* - searches by any string preceded by keyword
• <<keyword>> - EXACT match case insensitive to the full comment text

Also you can use special TAGS in your keyword lists, to search for any particular content in comments:

• @@@link@@@ - verifies if the user insert a link or a website url in his comment
• @@@email@@@ - verifies if the user insert an email address in his comment
• @@@image@@@ - verifies if the user posted an image in his comment
• @@@video@@@ - verifies if the user posted a video in his comment
• @@@taggedfriend@@@ - verifies if the user tagged a friend in his comment

PRIVATE MESSAGE LISTS AND AUTORESPONDER TEMPLATES

In these sections you will create the private message lists and the auto responder templates used later in your campaigns.

The private message lists will be used by Autoresponder Bot in the campaigns that are configured to send private messages. The auto responder templates will be used by Autoresponder Bot to auto reply to guest posts, user comments and reviews. You can add multiple messages in each list.

IMPORTANT: In your messages or templates, DO NO USE HTML CODE and DO NOT USE NON ASCII characters.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE TOTAL LENGTH OF THE PRIVATE MESSAGE IS LIMITED BY FACEBOOK TO 640 CHARS.
THE TOTAL LENGTH OF THE REPLY IS LIMITED TO 2000 CHARS, INCLUDING THE SPECIAL TAGS.
ANY MESSAGE OR REPLY THAT EXCEEDS THESE LIMITS WILL NOT BE SENT.

Supported special TAGS in auto responders:

• %%%name%%% - replaced with user's full name
• %%%taggedname%%% - replaced with user's full name tagged
• %%%fname%%% - replaced with user's first name
• %%%lname%%% - replaced with user's last name
• %%%todaydate%%% - replaced with the current date
• %%%dayofweek%%% - replaced with the current day of the week
• %%%currentmonth%%% - replaced with the current month
• %%%link%%% - replaced with the link found in the original post.
• %%%number%%% - replaced with the first number Autoresponder Bot will find.
• %%%keyword%%% - replaced with the keyword found in the user's comment, message or post.
• %%%usercomment%%% - replaced with the original user's comment

HOW TO UPLOAD IMAGES IN COMMENT REPLIES

You can post images in the reply only when replying to user's comments, posts and reviews but NOT in private messages.

Supported image formats: jpg,jpeg,png,tiff,bmp
To post an image in the reply, you must insert the image URL in your message. Please be sure the image URL is the FIRST LINE in your message. After the image URL, you can add extra text and a link BUT ONLY AFTER the image URL.

DO NOT use more than one image in the same message.

3. FB Comments Moderator

YOU WILL BE ABLE TO CHOOSE BETWEEN MULTIPLE TYPES OF AUTORESPONDER CAMPAIGNS:

1. Auto reply to ALL GUEST POSTS on my fan page

Autoresponder Bot will moderate guest posts on your fan page based on certain keywords found in the user's post. You can choose to like the post, reply and send a private message to the user.

2. Auto reply to all comments for ALL POSTS on my fan page

Autoresponder Bot will search and moderate all new comments posted by users on your fan page. You can moderate any post, image, album, video or event.

3. Auto reply to comments for SPECIFIC POSTS or PHOTO ALBUMS, by ID

Autoresponder Bot will search and moderate all new comments posted by users on specific posts, by ID. Use this section if you want to moderate your Facebook ads, dark and unpublished posts.

How to find a POST ID on your fan page

For REGULAR PUBLISHED POSTS, click on [View Page Posts] link near the Post IDs field and all the page posts will be shown. You will find your POST ID there.

For ADS, BOOSTED POSTS or DARK POSTS:

1. Go to Ads Manager
2. On right top, select your fan page name
3. Select "Ads" on the left side.
4. Click on the post you are interested in and a new window will open
5. The POST ID is the numeric value on top.

4. Messenger Bot

With Messenger Bot you can set different answers and replies for private messages received by your fan page.

The campaigns will auto respond to private messages sent by Facebook users based on the keywords chosen by you. If the user does not use any of your keywords, you will be able to choose also general answer.

For example, you can set different replies for keywords such as: price, discount, opening hours, order, issue, etc.

VERY IMPORTANT:

• DO NOT create more than ONE active messenger bot campaign for the same Facebook fan page.
• The messenger bot campaign will work ONLY IF you disable "Instant Reply" and "Custom Questions" from "Automated Responses" section of your page inbox settings.

5. Facebook Contests

With Autoresponder Bot you can create contests, sweepstakes and giveaways directly on your fan page. Just choose the fan page, the post ID and configure the rules of the contest.

For each contest type, there are multiple options, each one being described in the help tooltips.

6. Auto Comment Poster

With this module you can set campaigns to regularly auto post new comments to your previous fan page posts.

The users who commented on that post will get a NEW NOTIFICATION directly in Facebook about the new comments and the rate of engagement will be higher.
You will have to choose your fan page, the post ID, the campaign type and the campaign's periodicity.

7. Instagram Moderator

With Instagram Moderator you can set comment auto responder campaigns for your Instagram business accounts linked to your fan pages.

1. First, you will have to authorize the iAutoresponder Bot application in "Instagram Business Profiles" section. Click on "Authorize New Instagram Business Profile" button and choose a name for your profile.
2. Click on "AUTHORIZE APPLICATION" button for your new added Instagram account. In the Facebook authorization window, please select your Facebook fan pages you want to import in the application. Confirm all rights asked.
3. After your Facebook fan pages are imported, you will see all fan pages with the status "NOT LINKED". For each Facebook fan page associated with an Instagram business account, click on "Link Instagram Business Account" button.

You can choose between 3 Instagram Moderator campaign types:

• Moderate NEW COMMENTS TO ALL MEDIA on my Insagram business profile
• Moderate NEW COMMENTS FOR SPECIFIC MEDIA on my Instagram business profile
• Moderate NEW COMMENTS OR CAPTIONS THAT CONTAIN A MENTION of my Insagram business profile
